HIS Questionnaire survey in 64 Civil Surgeon (CS) office
A questionnaire has been circulated among 64 Civil Surgeon (CS) offices on April 16, 2008 seeking their response on the Development of Health Information System (HIS). The CS offices have already started sending their answers. It would be a good information from the field level for developing future HIS for the Country.

Progress of HMN Bangladesh
Formation of Bangladesh HMN secretariat has been completed on September 2007. Accordingly one Office Secretary, Project Coordinator and HMN Consultant recruitment process has been finished by December 2007.
As per planned activities the Bangladesh HMN secretariat is now conducting series of Health Information System (HIS) workshops, field survey, field visit, small meetings and FGDs.
The last HIS workshop took place April 03, 2008.
The HMN Secretariat is now compiling all information and taking preparation for the first draft of Country HIS Report
